We have sold everything from cool miners cottages to coastal waterfronts and acreages, but the greatest part of it all is helping people find more than home. We began Home in the Hunter at the beginning of 2020 to offer a completely different style of real estate agency; boutique, independent and client-first.

Principal
Honest, easy-going and hilarious! Daniel has over 20 years selling experience and learnt his trade in some of Australia's most competitive markets: Mosman, Wahroonga and the Northern Beaches. He was within the top 5% of agents in his first year in the Hunter and has achieved many suburb & street records. Daniel's clients and their families go on to use him for years and he is a trusted sounding board for developers and investors from Sydney and Melbourne looking at the Hunter region. Daniel’s philosophy has always been to treat every client like family; providing the very best market knowledge, honest advice and expert sales strategy to achieve the best possible price. Daniel is an advocate for the beautiful Hunter lifestyle and his other great passion is motorbikes, currently restoring and riding a Moto Guzzi.
Laura McMahon
Marketing + Styling
Laura studied a double degree in Law and Communications and spent over a decade at director level so she is well qualified to lead our marketing and styling teams. She was the PR Account Director for luxury fashion brands like Zimmermann and Ginger & Smart before producing some of Australia’s largest conferences and events, including the biggest Gala Dinner ever held in a Sydney hotel and international conferences with 5000+ attendees at the ICC Sydney. Laura is a communication powerhouse and her time spent securing press for clients and styling events has translated into giving our client's homes the absolute edge in the marketplace! Laura has always had her finger on the pulse of where to eat, stay and play, and loves that even though we only moved to Newcastle in 2018, all her local friends message her for the best places to go out in the Hunter! When she isn’t trying squeeze yet another cushion into the house while telling Daniel it’s really for a client, she is running after her two favourite little people in the whole world Zariah Valentina and Axel Bear.
